Farmersgirl Kitchen is on a real farm

Just in case any of my newer readers wondered whether Farmersgirl Kitchen is really part of a farm, here is a photograph of the calves that arrived just as I got home from work.  

They are a mixture of Simmental, British Blue and Limousin cross calves.  We buy them in already weaned and, as soon as the weather warms up, they will go out into the field until they are sold on again in October.

We usually get our calves at the end of January into February, but this year they were difficult to come by and more expensive than usual as well. 

This one was particularly un-phased by his new home!
